Help Build Classrooms for Lusozi Primary School
Lusozi Primary school is located in Masaka district Uganda with around 800 pupils. 99% of these pupils are orphans and vulnerable children coming from families facing extreme poverty conditions. The school has seven classes with primary three, four and five having classrooms in a very dilapidated thatch building. We would like to finally be able to provide three decent lockable cement block classrooms for them and desks hence motivating them to stay at school.
This is among the schools with high enrollment in the district with a lot of orphans and vulnerable children. These classes are in critical condition for our children, posing risks to their lives and demotivating them from studying. By building these classrooms; it will increase pupil’s enrollment and retention thus transforming their lives and live a meaningful and purposeful life.
The three new cement classroom blocks will house the three classes. The classrooms will be sturdy and conducive thus creating enabling environment for learners to study. We will increase on the number of teaching and reading materials and even have wooden tables and/or desks once the building is built since we know they will be secure.
This project will drastically improve the overall level of education and learners’ retention and motivation towards education. This will provide them with a more solid foundation for success in their education. It will also attract better teachers once they see that the school has solid structures.
